Si antes no era un fan de Kmart, es posible que eres ahora!  Recientemente, Kmart lanzó una nueva iniciativa que atrae a las madres latinas. Madres y Comadres es una campaña que se conecta las madres latinas en una manera más profunda.  La iniciativa de Kmart en YouTube es muy divertido y  tiene muchas capas de utilidad para las madres, incluyendo las conversaciones con Latinas reales acerca de los desafíos de criar ninos bilingüe y bicultural, y también hay mini-novelas (Webnovelas) sobre dos comadres chistosas y adorables que juntos se enfrentan estos desafíos!  Se animan unos a otros, responder a los demás preguntas y compartir sus esfuerzos bicultural, como la lucha para ayudar a sus hijos a mantener español en comunidades donde domina el Inglés.  Es seguro que dará una realización de acuerdo y una sonrisa viendo ellas abordano a los desafíos comunes de las madres Latinas. Aquí es una de las novelas populares de YouTube! ;)

If you weren’t a fan of Kmart before, you might be now!  Recently, Kmart launched a new initiative that widely appeals to Latina moms.  Madres y Comadres is a campaign that connects with Latina moms on a deeper level.  Kmart’s YouTube initiative has several fun and helpful layers for moms, including discussions with real Latinas about the challenges of raising bilingual/bicultural niños, as well as fun mini-novelas (Webnovelas) of two feisty and adorable comadres who face the challenges together!  They provide encouragement, field each others’ questions and dish on bicultural stresses, like the struggle to help their children maintain Spanish language in English dominant communities.  You’ll definitely give a head shake and a chuckle just watching how they tackle common challenges for Latina moms.  Here’s one of their popular novelas from YouTube!  ;)

Aun más maravilloso que la diversión de las Webnovelas de Kmart, son las historias verdaderas de las madres Latinas a través de este país que hablar de sus desafíos y la importancia de impartir su cultura y su lengua a sus hijos.  Una de nuestras amigas y blogueras, Coco Peate de Vida Coco, fue una de las madres entrevistadas.  Escuche a ella en este video debajo.
