We’re Going to Blogalicious!

I have a little bit of news for you!  We’re going to Blogalicious!  On Friday, I was contacted by Clever Girls Collective who told me that I had won their #Cleverlicious Tweet contest!  Myself and another blogger each won a ticket by responding to this prompt: “I want to be #Cleverlicious at @BeBlogalicious because:  ____________________________.”  I tweeted the following and was surprised and delighted to receive a response!  :)

So, you can pretty much guess that I was surprised.  I’m also a little nervous and super excited.  As I’ve said before, I am a big fan of Blogalicious, a conference that aims to represent and promote diversity.  So it was double exciting to also be mentioned in their latest newsletter.

A big hug to my hubby for encouraging me to enter!  Now we come to the sticky part…planning and budgeting.  These two things are probably what hold most of us back from attending a conference and I am no exception.  My life is busy and my budget is tight, but I have a plan.  ;)

One thing that I’ve been wanting to do for quite a while, but hadn’t started up yet, is a design business that allows me to help other bloggers by sharing my skills in blog and social media customization.  So I’ve finally gotten the ball rolling on this project and I have a special Blogalicious offer that will allow anyone to receive a HUGE discount on blog and social media redesigns!  Details HERE.
