I’m sorry I missed this discussion..would have loved to see what other families strategies are in raising bilingual children. In my house I speak to my children in Spanish, while hubby speaks English (he is now trying to learn for work purposes). We encourage them to watch Plaza Sesamo and Dora/Diego in Spanish but sometimes it’s a struggle to have my oldest speak it all the time as she has the influence from being in school. Would love to know how other
Families are integrating teaching the language beyond speech and more into the written and reading aspect of it.

My daughter loves all the same shows and I Plaza Sesamo is beyond awesome because it has language, culture and academics all rolled into one! ;)
