Book Reviews for Hispanic Heritage Month!

This past week I received two excellent books for review, just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month!  The books, which are both authored by fellow bloggers, are two that I have been waiting on excitedly for months and I can’t wait to dig in!

For the Muy Bueno Cookbook review, I’ll be cooking one or more of the recipes…preferably something I haven’t cooked before (can you believe I’ve never made atole?) or maybe something that I want a fresh take on (another chiles rellenos recipe couldn’t hurt!).

As a mom raising a bilingual daughter, but struggling everyday, I’m excited to see what Ana and Roxana have included in Bilingual is Better.  From the press release, it sounds like a very well-rounded and researched book.  I’m also looking forward to hearing the perspectives of two bicultural Latina moms who are raising bicultural / bilingual families in the U.S.

Thanks to the ladies at Muy Bueno and Spanglish Baby for sharing copies of their books and please stay tuned for upcoming giveaways for both books!
